Factories Making Factories

1.
I use these simple words To make myself so clear Transparent to the core The reason I am here I pray these shallow prayers I seek the easy path Thank God I'm learning quick Thank God I'm turning back
2.
This the end of the road Yeah This is the end of the line Yeah Knuckles are bleeding People left standing Things worth repeating Are worth demanding The right to a fair trial The right to dismiss it There must be a reason For all of this All the rage in this empty world Could never stop never stop, never stop The written word Hold me close tonight Cause if it feels okay well then it must be right Have you got some, can you make some sense? Hold me close tonight Cause we're all still here and we're still alive Have you got some, can you make some sense? Yeah Think this, think this, think this through again What, you, want. I've been watching the world burn For some time. Will it ever learn?

You talk big but you don't fight fair You want in but you just don't share Record this, your fist in my mouth Call me a dentist whilst I spit teeth out You talk big but you don't fight fair You want in but you just don't share Record this, your fist in my mouth Call me a cancer cause you cut me out You dish it out but you never receive Cafe bee tray all as your heart starts to heave You pay the bills and you live days with ease From up on your throne, as Queen of the Sleeze Are you a store, cause you're selling out? Are you like this when there's no one about? You pulled the strings to get what you want And walked away from where you came from You serve it up but you'll never repent Your home in Hell is paid for by rent You sit alone in the dark eating worms You should've put on your glasses and read all the terms Get me the the cheque, cause I'm checking out!
4.
All my fellow sinners, raise your…glass Everything is okay, nothing is all alright Let's give up on hope Let's give up on us When everything is okay, nothing is ever right When everything is unseen, nothing is out of sight Let's re-write the definitions, of what is good and bad We'll swap them around, and force them to bow Ain't our plan so grand? Everything's not okay, nothing has been alright We're all drinking up, from our poised cup Complaining the night's too bright So where does the line start, where does it stop? So where does the mind start and the heart stops? As the night turns to day And your hearts start to break What happened to the innocence we had? When the daylight arrives Wipe the sleep from your eyes You'll might see the life you never lived

Black Cloud 02:26
Throw fits like knives across a crowded room Packed like a freight train, no where to move Rapture my soul, departed my heart Rupture my lungs, stopped into start Hold me still and prepare my soul There is a black cloud coming just to swallow me whole I pray you Hold me still and cleanse me of sin My Father told me you would come back again
6.
Deny Me 02:42
Does a song write itself? God use me. Make them squirm. Can a car drive itself? You're sure Just reconfirm Last time I checked Things that looked designed Were. Last time I checked Things that looked planned Were. Deny me, deny yourself. Deny yourself, deny what else?
7.
Please don't try to stop me now I'm trying to escape this town of little people little thinkers Light weight drunkards, small time drinkers You think you're smart with fragile hearts and Glass for bones and liberal arts You sleep awake, a nightmare starts These fragile bones and bleeding hearts You gotta stand for something Or you'll fall for anything You gotta stand for something Or you'll fall for anything Or you'll fall for anything I'll bide my time until you buy Sometime until you pay some kind Of fine for falling out of line Until I finally speak my mind

Hope in a hopeless mess Find peace in emptiness Truth for these final days Blacks in the whites not grays Hope in a hopeless place 1st in the human race Faith in the little things Faith in the bigger things Keep your spin for the toy tops never spun Keep your spin, keep your spin It was never about a choice.  It was always about covering up Keep your spin for the papers Keep your spin, keep your spin It was never about choice It was always about the louder voice CHORUS: This won't save lives But might save mine There is still time Choose truth, choose life
10.
Hold me still and prepare my soul There is a black cloud coming just to swallow me whole I pray you Hold me still and cleanse me of sin My Father told me you would come back again

I keep keep keep hearing the same old arguments I keep keep keep hearing the same old same old Circular reasoning Straw man arguments Seriously guys Are we all still accidents? Let me get this straight Love is the law? Let me get this straight…  CHORUS: We're painted pictures on bathroom stalls No less a masterpiece than what we were before We're painted pictures on bathroom stalls No less a masterpiece than when we were drawn Logical fallacies Repeat sins of Hubris As you chip away At blocks of the universe Circular reasoning Name calling arguments Is this your science? Your arm chair politics Where is God? Not in the classroom Not in the courtroom Not in the church Where is God When disaster strikes? You call out his name When reality bites Where is God When you push him away? You deny his existence Them blame him for pain Where is God? I think you know

about

THIS ALBUM IS A TASTER:
For more music like this, go to:
newjerusalemproject.bandcamp.com

3 drum kits, a few fuzz pedals and a whole lot of shouting.
2 and a half years in the making, with numerous creative direction changes, New Jerusalem was originally intended to be Refused-ish, but turned out being something very different.
A little bit punk rock, a little bit experimental, a lot of drum and percussion overdubs and more voice breaks that I would like to admit to.
