I can't see you go like this, and I need you, you to know What's done ain't done easily there's a reason here, now you know It's like there's a part of me, that I've bound up here, here with you There's more than one part of me, that could care a, about you We started as enemies, yeah we started so apart Then fate turned her hand to us, started pulling at, at our hearts The stars were our witnesses' as we held off all, all our doubts But time was the final card, that we spoke of with, with our hearts CHORUS: Moonlight guide my way Despite it being day Moonlight guide my path And bring us safely back Replace me with anything, please replace me in, in your heart I'm not one for succeeding, no I;m failing you from the start I'm losing my hand for this, yeah I'm killing part of me Replace me with something else, only then you will, will be free CHORUS 2: Tell me what to say And thought I'm so afraid Moonlight guides my way To live another day

We stood so tall like statues do And cast our hearts up at the moon The magic stalled and then it grew The hatred came and then we knew The darkness came into our hands Divided men from in our midst They were the powder, we were the wick Their fire grew, they made us sick The smoke was wide as it was thick And we absolved ourselves of them But we are not blameless CHORUS: We are the same as you Your words reveal the truth But we are all the same We are the same as you We share the blame with you Cause we are all the same We pushed and pulled the way to war The more you did the more we saw The path was laid unto our feet We did our best to be discreet But stealth did not disguise our hearts And we are not blameless

I took my place in a world where the people knew That doing bad for the good could be what we'd do But in the end, all our best was our worst mistake Cause all we did, in the end, all we did was take All want is change All we did was blame All this empty hate For that magic place CHORUS: And I believe in you And what we said we'd do We are discovering something new Me & you You took my hand, said you'd stand, on this promise made There was a storm, and we stood, in the pouring rain I never knew, one like you, could be what I'd need And much like truth, all your love, made me feel so free Racing t'ward the end With my two best friends Fighting to defend Damage we can mend CHORUS 2: So please believe in me And what you might yet see The power of belief You & me
4.
Looking at a portrait of a man I'll never be In 20/20 lenses through a rose tint memory Life throws circumstances at you and you better best believe That things are getting harder, getting harder... There are certain lessons that you only learn by force And hopefully you only need to learn these lessons once In a tidal wave of grief you lose the ones you love And everything gets harder, it gets harder... CHORUS: And all the magic in these lands Could never match determined hands And all the wrongs lie in the past The present shapes the future's path What we do makes who we are What we do makes who we are and we're doing the right thing I can promise one thing in this life we both now lead That some days will be slower and then others will be brief And when you find me sinking to the floor and on my knees Remind me of our father, of our father HARROW: I can promise one thing in this life you'll have to lead That time will move away in seconds and at break neck speed Before you know it you'll be looking more and more like me When you'll become a father, things get harder
5.
Darling, I thought I loved you But you were lying to me And when I was empty I thought you might come fill me But I was a dreamer And you were my dream Now I see you completely Now your words don't comfort me Darling I thought I loved you From those days beside that tree But here inside this moment I see now what you believe That we are the dreamers And this is the dream But now I see completely And your words write history But we've got history CHORUS: Nothing is ever as simple as you ever made it sound And I've got this memory of you and I'm gonna lay it down Yeah I'm gonna let you down Darling I thought I loved you But every step you took That I can't follow No I can't even look Your heart is made of water And mine is made of oil We can be together But we'll never mix that well No we'll never mix that well
6.
I don't know if I'll ever feel the way I did before right now I'm just lying on this bed without a twitch or a sound Maybe I could write about this in a poem? I can't count the syllables or all the ways I've let you down Or number them in order of severity Maybe I could reinvent myself? CHORUS: If I can do anything, I can do anything wrong So now I can't do anything, I can't do anything...bad Keep your tears I'll be running my own race At least metaphors nothing there to break Except that old 4th wall but I'll tell you that isn't my style All these years trying to be what our father wanted us to be Maybe it is time for us to just believe in ourselves if only for a while... Face your fears or be paralysed from all the guilt you have inside But what I should have done is runaway and hide Grammatically that phrase is incorrect Kill a dear and syphon out it's energy into a spell I'm so grateful for all your efforts Though it's almost tell that something isn't quite the way it was

Desperate 04:47
Locked in a room & staring at mirrors Your vision gets blurred, but you can see clearer I look at you, I see what you do Nobody cares they're pulling you deeper Humanity's slope is getting much steeper I'm looking at you, I see what is true Waving your hands, the danger is growing But they'll come for you, intentions are showing They're looking at you, don't see what I do Picture a world that's safe and endearing Achieving this though, it takes engineering So what do we do? What point do we prove? CHORUS: Desperate times call for desperate measures And desperate men forget consequences Right & wrong are just quaint points of view When sharks are involved & they're circling you Desperate times & these desperate measures Who do you trust, the man in the mirror? The voice in your ear is pulling the trigger The spark in my voice, you're making your choice Stuck in a room, ambitions are growing The cards are laid out, your heart beat is slowing The knife in your hand, is not what you planned I never lie, but am I a liar? You want to see light, you best build a fire But you might get burned, cause you never learn Moves & removed, react & re-address The fire is on, it's warming the furness So what have you done? It's only begun... CHORUS: Desperate times call for desperate measures And desperate men forget consequences Right & wrong are just quaint points of view When dark magic's involved and it's ruining you Desperate times & these desperate measures

We stand on shoulders tall And though we feel so small Our hands can hold it all This place we have been given We push our way to war No matter what we saw Forge steel to make a sword Instead of just our prison We wield this blade with hate Make beauty into pain And paint it like the rain Across this place we live in A shadow in our hearts That grows each day more dark And magic was the start Of where we had this vision Behold the age of man Where hatred makes it's stand Behold the age of men Set fire and start again
